Valley Medical Imaging - Langley

ATTN PARENTS: AWFUL EXPERIENCE!— I arrived around 9am with my 7 year old for an X-ray to check if she’d broken her wrist. I had my 2 year old with me as well in her stroller, well behaved. The women at reception just told me flat out “you need to find childcare for your other child” and I responded by telling her I don’t have anyone to watch her that’s why she’s with me. She refused to assist me in any way and just kept saying I should figure out where to leave her so I can bring my other child back LATER who potentially has a broken bone! So frustrating since I’ve gotten out the door with 2 kids early in the morning and any parent knows how difficult that is on its own let alone one toddler and one child in pain. Upset, I asked for my paperwork back and told her their policy was ridiculous and they should consider peoples situations before being so dismissive. I then drove from Langley to Guildford right after and went to WESTCOAST MEDICAL IMAGING and they were amazing! So accommodating. They said nothing about me bringing the baby (probably because they understood she’s with me because I have no other option like a normal person with a heart would) and when my daughter went in for her X-ray they kindly said I could wait outside the room for “our safety” not because bringing my baby was a problem. We were in and out in 15 mins. BOTTOM LINE: If you are a parent of more than one child and want to be treated with respect THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU!

I had awesome experience, went there for my 32 week’s ultrasound, they were very quick, called me to ultrasound room on exact appointment time, technician was very kind, overall it was great experience.

I was phoned on a Friday and was told an appointment was canceled and then I could come today which is a Saturday. I go to the valley medical imaging and it's closed on Saturdays and Sundays so I don't know who called me on a Friday and told me I could come in on a Saturday morning at 8:00? but it was very inconvenient.Dec. 30th. I just called them today to see if my appointment for my son was originally kept for Sept 3 but it was canceled because they had offered me an earlier appointment on Friday Dec. 16th. due to a last minute cancellation. They call me on a Friday told me to come in the next day I go in it was closed of course on Saturday. I didn't bother to check if it was open because I went by her calendar now I call back they canceled my original appointment for September 3rd and I have to pay $105 for missing an appointment that I was told to go to and she told me she didn't believe that I was told this by anyone because they know that it's not open. She was so rude and basically denying that anyone there instructed me to go in on a Saturday. She should not be answering the phone when she's so ignorant and she doesn't know how to treat people. There should be accountability from someone at that office in Langley but I know there won't be. There never is they just dowhat they want. It's concerning

I had a wonderful experience! I went in for my 20 week ultrasound. The receptionist (didn’t get her name but she had lion king scrubs on) had a very welcoming voice and smile. She was polite and got me seated pretty quick. Within a few minutes the ultrasound tech Alverta came and got me. She was reassuring and ensured that I knew exactly what was going on throughout the process. My baby was not cooperating for some images she needed and instead trying to rush me out and make a new appt, she took her time and got me to walk around to help with baby turning. Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish and I would completely recommend going there.

Worst experience, tried booking ultrasound for my wife as we did our first from somewhere else. And now they do not want to book our second one saying it's a policy. Says we have to do all from them or none at all. Such a shame on this kind of medical system and them.

Showed up at 9:45 on a Friday morning for a drop in chest x-ray.I Was out of there before 10:00am Absolutely elated. Friendly staff, quick and efficient. Our medical system may finally be on an upswing

I've been here a few times and it all depends on staff when it comes to the experience. Sometimes I've come in and it's a really warm friendly welcome and the wait wasn't bad and sometimes staff are grumpy and seem genuinely unhappy. Making people feel welcomed is important and a simple smile goes a long way. Sometimes the wait is slow but it all depends on the day. A nice waiting area and the staff I've approached have always been accommodating.

Showed up to my appoinment on the correct day and at the correct time I was given over the phone. I was told my appointment was the previous day and I owe them $100. Sorry but I am NOT paying for YOUR ERROR! West Coast Medical Imaging only from now on.

Have been for 3 ultrasounds over the last 3 months and each time a positive experience with the front staff to the ultrasound techs. I'd say my biggest issue" is the wait time on the phone when trying to book an appointment but I also understand that it is a medical office and that's just normal.Am pleased at how smooth every visit has been!"
